Mike Clancy founded Walgrove in 2009 a company specialising in chair and NED recruitment. In 2018 he introduced a complementary executive to non-executive career transition service following numerous requests for direct assistance from senior executives to help with their transition. Following an Executive career spanning 30 years with marketing, manufacturing and retail companies, Alan has over the last 20 years held chairmanship and non-executive roles with numerous publicly quoted and private sector companies working across a range of business sectors. He is currently Chairman of Ward Security Services. He was an Executive Director at Marks & Spencer and Kingfisher Group Companies. In his earlier career he held both marketing and general management appointments with Thomson Consumer Electronics and Spillers Foods. He started his career in marketing with Unilever and is a Fellow and past Chairman of the Marketing Society and a Liveryman of the City of London.
